Quiet Storm Martial Arts teaches practical self defense that is battlefield tested, and street effective. We teach in a non-competitive, nurturing, family atmosphere based on natural body movements. Our art relies on absolute practicality, efficiency, economy of motion, minimum effort, and maximum effect. Adult and kids classes are now forming!

Our Philosophy
Quiet Storm Martial Arts / Makoto Ryu Onmitsu Kai Hombu is focused on providing high-quality martial arts instruction, community service, and customer satisfaction. We concentrate on more than just physical training aspects of martial arts schools and self defense. Our goal is to unify the mind, body, and spirit on your journey to becoming tatsujin- a complete human being, or modern day warrior. Our definition of a warrior is much different than most. We feel a warrior is an empowered and compassionate protector of others.
